What's Inspected During A Home Inspection

My Typical Home Inspection Includes the Following Components:

  • Home Exterior & Garage
  • Roof & Associated Components
  • Attic Areas
  • Heating & Cooling Systems
  • Electrical System
  • Plumbing System & Fixtures
  • Doors & Windows
  • Built-in Appliances
  • Bathrooms & Components
  • Under Floor Crawlspace Areas
  • Foundation & Structure
  • Attached Decks & Patios

I recommend that You (the home buyer) and/or your representatives attend at least the last hour of the inspection.  During this time the inspector will review with you any challenges that he has found with the home as well as point out the positive aspects.  This is your opportunity to ask any questions about the findings.  I have found that this method is typically the most effective use of your time, however you are welcome to attend the entire 2-3 hour inspection if you desire.
